Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Class 10th + NTC/ITI + NAC in relevant trade

Age Limit (as of 1st July 2025):

General/EWS: 27 years
OBC (NCL): 30 years
SC/ST: 32 years
Relaxations: Up to 15 years for PWD and 7 years for experienced candidates

Salary and Benefits

During Training: Consolidated wages as per minimum wages act of the posting unit
After Regularization:
- Pay Scale: ₹29,500 – ₹65,000 + allowances
- Designation: Artisan Grade IV

Selection Process

The recruitment follows a two-stage process:

1️⃣ Computer-Based Exam (CBE)

Trade-specific online test
Minimum qualifying marks:
- UR/EWS: 30
- OBC/SC/ST: 22.5
Shortlisting for Skill Test in 1:5 ratio

2️⃣ Skill Test & Document Verification

Qualifying in nature
Final merit based only on CBE score

Exemption: Candidates awarded Best/Runner-up Apprentice in All India Skill Competitions are exempted from CBE.
